Their commentary and analysis shows get twice the broadcast hours than hard news gets. Fox News claims that it's "news" hours are from 9am-4pm and 6pm-8pm. That accounts for about 1 third of their airtime. What's the rest? Cavuto, Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity, Van Susteren, Fox & Friends, etc. These are the shows that command Fox's ratings, not the news. How many people can name one of Fox's news anchors?

I watch Fox and friends in the morning and it is on between 6 and 9 AM. It is a news show and is just another news show that your calculations missed. How many more time slots have you missed. Here is a list of just the female News anchors on FOX:
