Afghanistan was mishandled from the get go. The taliban was never defeated. They were pushed aside. Smoke and mirrors the past eight years.

the whole reason for the afghan war is due to the fact that the Taliban made poppy fields illegal in 2000 putting a massive dent in the world wide drug trade.
So, the US invades, shoves the taliban aside and the poppy fields return. War on drugs? LOL!

Latest reports indicate that the US is funding the Taliban in Afghanistan. Money laundering and profiteering by the independent war contractors.
