Filling vacated Lancaster council seat

Filling Lancaster council seat

Who do think will be appointed to fill the vacated Lancaster Town Board seat now that Amatura has won the Highway Super position?

Who would you suggest be appointed?

The rumor (damn, there’s that word) is it will be Neil Connelly, a Democrat who was a former Town Board member and now sits on the Planning Board – a really decent guy.

But wouldn’t it be neat to see Republican Pelletterie get the spot because of the resident support she has received, her showing in the election and the status quo change it would bring to an entrenched Democratic Town political system – Town/Planning/Zoning Boards

That would be the most integritous decision but I guess we'll just have to see how much integrity this board can muster up.

Can we not urge Giza

to put Georgette in that seat? I think the voters have spoken, therefore it would be appropriate to have her in that seat. Was Armatura in that seat as a Republican? If so I feel, that a Republican should occupy that seat.

Lee, what a great idea!! Unfortunately, they will never hand the spot to Georgette.

Isn't this thread all rumors? hmmm By the way, the rumors I'm hearing are totally different from what's on this thread. But, we won't really know till someone's appointed.
