I went to the Ralph last night to see GI play sweethome in a championship game. Sweethome was a heavy favorite. But the Vikings almost upset them. It was a great game, these kids play their hearts out. The Vikings should be proud of that game. A good turnout of GI fans also. The kids from GI were very respectful and good mannered. I was proud of them. And it was bitterly brrrrr cold.

GI had a very successful season given their poor start.
The players and coaches deserve congratulations for pulling together and finishing so strong. |

Bitterly cold. I was at some football games yesterday and it was a beautiful day - nice and sunny. Did the temps plummet as the sun went down?
I love when an underdog wins, when one almost does and keeps its dignity is even better! Congrats GI and its fans.

I got to the Ralph around 745pm. The GI game was at 830. It was a very clear night and cold since we got there. No wind just cold. But the two games were so good you tried to ignore the cold. We mentioned how many fans were there and came up with about 1000-1500 between both sweethome and GI. It was a good time. Fans were funny ,the players played their hearts out. Also the cheerleaders were very entertaining. The hot chocolate was good also.
