Is Florida easier to get to than California from Washington or Arizona or Nevada. Once again, you take your personal location and viewpoint and state it as facts.
In case you slept through geography class, Lefty, there are a whole lot more people living along the East Coast and in the Southeast than there are in Washington, Oregon, Arizona or Nevada. In fact, there are about 45% more people in Alabama, Georgia, and the Carolinas (27.2 million) than there are in Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington (18.8 million). I won't even get into population densities, highways, etc.

Tell me, do you stalk people that don't share your views and say stupid things, that have nothing at all to do with anything, on your side of the screen as well?
What, the truth hurts? Some posters keep whining that other states are so much better because they have lower taxes. Well, in Florida's case, yeah they have lower taxes but that doesn't make Florida a good place for kids.

Who, exactly, am I "stalking"?

except, what you say isn't the truth. You seem to have a nasty perspective when it comes to people who don't see things the same way you do. What does the tax rate in Florida have to do with this tragedy? And why did you quote the person you quoted to bring the tax rate in Florida up? I think it's because you will do, or say, any thing to make someone look bad in a warped effort to make yourself look good. I know for a fact mikenold NEVER said anything about the taxes in Florida. Nor would he. Yet, you hate people like him so much that you pick his post to point out something you think you know about him just to make him look bad?
Yeah, I call that stalking.

WOW. That is some serious BS. No wonder it took you so long to reply.

Good effort.

What I said was this:
Quote:
Oh, but it's a great place because it has low taxes!!!

Sorry, but I couldn't resist that because there are some posters on this MB who act like the only important thing in the world is taxes.
How do those statements constitute "hate" for mikenold? He brought up the issue that Florida is a lousy place to raise children. I simply added to it. I didn't say "you" or "mikenold". I said "some posters on this MB".

Why are you so upset about it? Did I hit too close to home? Poor baby.

wow, sue, I did not read Linda's message the same way you did. I could see where she was going with that statement and it had nothing to do with what mikenold said.

Leave the sensitivity at the message board door.

I saw this on the news on Wednesday, that she was missing.

I lived in Jacksonville for a short period of time. It's full of people from everywhere. There's a naval base there which brings many people to the area.

How the world has changed. I grew up on Tulane Rd in Kenmore. Went to Kindergarten at Horace Mann. and walked there and back alone, every day.
It was 1969-1970......

Times definitely have changed

Even if a well intended person stopped to offer the little girl a ride they would probably be rebuffed by the kid (on orders from mom) or reported as a child molester by someone. Good samaritans need to watch out. Nevertheless, I would probably stop and try to give her a ride and take the chance that I could be reported.
