I'd wager people missed many propositions on the rear of the ballot (they did in the booths as well, given they were way up) and/or had no clue what they meant.

The one about the power line in the North Country was easy.(#1)

The Erie County one was extremely poorly written (#3).

IMHO, the #2 (prisoners working for non-profits) should not even have been there. What happens the first time you get anyone hurt by a prisoner? We just had the guy (Sex Offender) who got a job with a non-profit and abused a kid..... you think it won't happen under supervision?

The prisoners are taken out in orange garb and supervised by sherriffs. They have been doing this for years with the county.

They were on the back of the sheet and I did not realize until after I left that I had not voted on them. I think that they put them on the back on purpose.

Doesn't the Board of Election should provide more information about the propositions? How do they educate public?

These propositions should be clearly spelled out so that a fifth grader would understand. The only reason to do otherwise is to pull the wool over the eyes of the voter.
