NUMBER 27 , World Series champions , now the Philly band-wagoners can get off the wagon & don't hurt yourself on the way down Seriously , great sport when a guy (Matsui) who can't even speak English can hit the dickens off the ball & be MVP in the USA , great for international unity !!

Great season - I watched almost every game this year. I think I will go kick the DVR on and watch last night game again for good measure.

Indeed feels good. I just finished watching the game again - they still won!

I'm sorry but to me the Yankees are the definition of the mentality that has screwed NYS up so much. Spend more than anyone else for older has-been players every year with nothing to show, but when you win one every 5 years or so act like the “throw money at it” idea worked!

Ie medicaid, education and welfare.

Flordia did it in 2003 with 54 MILLION, it took the yankess 208 MILLION this year!

Yeah except the Yankees are more successful than any other team. 27 times to date
