OP Supervisor Candidate refuses to debate.
So Janis Colarusso thinks she can run Orchard Park as the next town supervisor???? BUT she refuses to debate her opponent- Dr. Patrick J. Keem.
Keem invited Janis to a few debates and she declined or didnt even show the courtesy of a reply..... maybe she is worried people will find out she is only planning on staying in office for part of the term. I know who I'm voting for on November 3rd... Keem for OP Supervisor. |

Indeed....
Without a doubt, to anyone in OP who has bothered to attend a Town board meeting or work session - or even passively observed, learned, or listened, Dr. Keem is hands-down more qualified than our town clerk.
Pols like our entitlement-minded town clerk who have no ability to debate, or are void of ideas in order to do so, never accept such invitations. Such a debate would be a disaster - and frankly, embarrassing for anyone to watch. I'm with you - easily the only sensible vote is for Pat Keem. If he becomes Supervisor, and can keep the entrenched political quorum in Nannytown somewhat at bay, he'll do fine. That's all we can hope for. |

What is going on out there in OP. Your councilwoman Ackerman making such stupid arguments over your refusal to build lower income housing. Zip codes needed? Saving the land for industrial use. We want housing for our locals only. We do want to spend money for emergency services to the low income people. We have so many blacks living in OP. Is this woman really on your board. She is so out of touch, too hotsy todsey for us common folks. Dump her next election before you end up being sued and costing you millions. Wow what a idiot she is.

A very Good Man
Right on, Res - a very good man.
Anyone in OP that votes for Colarusso might also want to know that she publicly expressed on more than one occasion that she deserves a raise, not any sort of cut - because of "how hard she works" - and was appalled at the recent suggestion that the Supervisor's budget officer stipend ($2,000) and use of a Town automobile be removed from the 2010 budget. It's all about her. Again - for this and much, much more - Pat Keem is the hands-down choice. I hope OP citizens use their brains when they vote - not the phony minor-league party BS. |

and Colarusso isnt even going to consider reductions in her budget. so she is for a 3.7% increase. This woman has no interests in serving the public. she did not do one ounce of campaigning- door to door to speak with the constituents and allow them to voice their concerns. She wont stay for the full term. she is eligible for retirement in two years. she is running for supervisor to pad her pension. thats the real side of janis colarusso.
I agree KEEM is our guy!!!! |

janis wants to be supervisor cause she wants more $$$ for her pension. she doesnt have the savvy to be town supervisor and she knows it. and after the down sizing- look at the two jokers she will have as councilmen. oh yea. by the time downsizing rolls around- she'll sneak out with her big fat pension.

don't kid yourselves there was a plan contrived by a group of politicians in Orchard Park to make sure that Janis was elected. While Keem was the better candidate, there was a purposeful maneuver by several high ranking GOP members to suppress voter turnout.
The plan was developed by Conservative party chairman, Remy Orffeo and supported primarily by David Buyer, Harold Fabinsky, Gene Majchrzak, John Bailey, David Kaczor, and other "supposed members" of the GOP. Did you see David Kaczor or Gene Majchrzak actively campaigning this year? Did you see any advertising on their parts whatsoever? There was no effort made. Kind of odd huh? You would think that even though you are unopposed that you would want to at least want to make an effort to get out to at least talk to the community about the issues. No effort at all by Mr. Kaczor or our newly elected "good ole boy" Majchrzak!!! This could have easily been done for Keem and it was'nt. Why? Because there was a plan ladies and gentlemen. Janis Colarusso may appear innocent but she is an "old school politician" who knows how to play the game. |

What is also scarey to me is that two of the biggest political brokers in Orchard Park run the town's planning department - Orffeo and Fabinsky!
It is not Ackerman who is the problem ... it's the boys behind the scenes working the game and now it just got better with their "little friend" being elected to the supervisor's office. |
