Well have we heard enough of Iannello now. Today's news about her makes me sick. She would not allow a black woman on her canvassing team because the woman is black. Can you believe this. A woman who has given her time to help politicians by walking door to door was denied a spot on Iannellos team. Then Iannello gets caught doing this and now tries to say anything to get out of this terrible act of hers. Saying things like I do want to be holding to the working family line or any political party. She is married to D Ward , a major democratic party leader. Come on Michele withdraw from this race due to you acting like a racist. A vote for her is a vote for racism. Period.

Commissioner Ward Implicated in Ianello R***sm
Elections Commissioner Dennis Ward (the hapless Ianello's husband) was implicated by the Buffalo News as complicit in the Ianello campaign debacle which is now undoing her campaign. She was toast ever since Hardwick jumped in the race, now she's merely dust waiting to get blown away in the winds of November 3rd. The political tables have turned on bully boss, litlle Ceasar, double dealing Dennis Ward. Maybe if Ward was a good chair of the Amherst Dems his slate would have a chance. Instead, resources are flushed away along with Ianello's campaign.
Dennis Ward's commissionership is at risk! This is nowhere near over. |

Also why wouldn't you want a canvasser forcing people to sign pledges and want them on your team? This is the part in which you can state your reasons.

[quote=TheRightView;565114]was the "no" for both(but it seems you can't follow directions(which I am thinking and neither could this overzealous canvasser)? and Iannello had no problem with her doing the phone banks(which btw covers all areas) This has everything to do with a personality clash
Personality clash, where did that come from? She was ok for the phone bank but not ok for in person, now lets see whats the difference, uh her looks |

Politics is such an ugly business. I cannot imagine why anyone would want to run for any office.

See I can follow directions. BTW, would you say that you can recognize speech patterns(accents)? For example, those that have a southern drawl, from one that has a NYC accent(say from the Bronx) one form the midwest to one from the west coast or the north east? I can, maybe you can only read sign language and can't hear and if that is the case I am glad you can communicate but you lose out on the wonderful accents of those who live in the world.

Well the voters spoke. Goodbye Michelle, I am sure you are a nice person but you did nothing for the taxpayers in your district. Time for you and that political family of yours(Dan Ward) to get a real job. Truth finally prevailed.

[quote=TheRightView;566313]stil can't refute me, how sad. Regardless how the voters voted, if my fincial situation is not better with those elected once they get sworn in, I will lay all the blame on them. Have fun. :-) I've got the threads ready for use for those newly elected and when they are sworn in. No rest for the weary.

It should not be all about "me" If our society gets better should count for something. And not better by more freebies from our government. It is nice to get better personally but you should think bigger. |
