LANDMARK NATIONAL BANK VS. BOYD A. KESLER ET AL (If you know MERS, read this.)
The Kansas, of all places, Supreme Court gets to the root of the problem with the criminal conspiracy known as the real property lending market and their totally unintentional wade into fatally flawed contract law bliss.
Anyone on this message board who currently has a signed note and granted mortgage lien where the "mortgagee of record" is Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc. should concern themselves with this minor development. The underlying and unstated implications of Landmark National Bank vs. Kesler may greatly affect you if the case moves forward into the Federal courts. Affect you in a good way, I mean, should it keep "winning."
