    Sabres Win 3-2

No. That's not wha't going to happen. The Canadiens and Sabres will skate to a 2-2 tie after regulation. Buffalo will win 3:18 into overtime.

I was at the game and it was unbelievable ! With Montreal ahead by 2 goals with just over 5 minutes left, a lot of people chalked this off as a Sabre loss, and left the building. Then Danny Briere who seems really driven this year scores on a breakaway. I really thought Montreal would haul him down and take the penalty, but they didn't. They probably should have !

Then with 15 seconds left, Maxie gets his 2nd goal of the night (the 1st one was called off by the French Canadian ref) with 15 seconds left with us on a 6/5 man advantage with Miller on the bench.

The place went crazy ! ! ! Overtime Sabres outshot Mtl 3-1 and clearly dominated. I felt good about the upcoming shootout with Vanek, Briere, and Afinogenov. Miller stoned Koivu and Rider and Kovalev banged one off the post (whew !). Sabres 5-4

    WHAT A GAME ! ! ! !

Yeah, well I was pretty damn close on the score, and I didn't say anything about overtime one way or the other. I win.

    What a game!

I was there. Most entertaining game I've seen in about 10 years

It wouldn't have gotten called anyway. These officials missed a significant number of obvious calls. The non-penalty shot, amongst others.

Open ice check on the Hab's end rings some idiot's bells...and all of a sudden, Buffalo is short. Idiotic.

Worst officiating ever, and this includes the horrible job Fraser did handing a game to Ottawa in last year's playoffs.

I'm already tired of hearing this '"a booing crowd -- unhappy with the officials after the Sabres were penalized three times in a 74-second span -- on its feet when Afinogenov forced overtime." What a load of crap. They were unhappy long before then. They screwed up the very first call and it only got worse.

    Referees: Stephane Auger, Kevin Pollock
    Linesmen: Scott Driscoll, Steve Miller
