Magierski one of Steve Pigeon's Candidates for Democratic Chairman

If there was any doubt Alice Magierski was aligned with the Steve Pigeon/Frank Max faction, think again. Looks like Steve Pigeon wants to run Magierski for Democratic Chairman next year:

"The Pigeon faction contemplates candidates for Chairman"

    http://buffalochronicle.com/2015/06/...-for-chairman/

"Among those being considered as the faction’s figurehead: Camille Brandon, Dawn Sanders-Garrett, Brenda McDuffie, Sheila Meegan, and Alice Mageirski."

And Camille Brandon too. Thats two Frank Max people from Cheektowaga on that short list.
They both seemed like decent people with some integrity. Its a shame that they went down the sewer and associated themselves with Frank Max.

Even if the regular population of Cheektowaga doesn't know what any of this means, all of the police and town employees and people involved in local politics know and no one wants another Frank Max person. You can expect a lot of folks to keep these people are arms length because of it. More now that frank cant threaten the sanitation workers for suport.

What a shame for people with decades of decent service to the community to sell their souls to frank like this. Wonder what he promised them.

Camille has been used and abused enough she has pimped herself out enough that she is all dried up. As for Alice trust me people know what she is all about.

    Have no fear folks.

The good, decent, smart 'rank and file' of the Erie County Democratic Committee would NEVER elect a Pigeon stooge like Alice Magierski or Frank Max to the chairmanship.

Heck, Magierski will be defeated in the Democratic primary this September 10th and will slink into retirement and never be heard from again, and that's because of what SabraTooth, unsilent and CheektowagaFan has mentioned here.

How could any sane person vote for anyone connected to Steve Pigeon or Frank Max??????

Frank Max has single-handedly brought joy and hope to the Cheektowaga Republican Party, when he was the Democratic Party chairman. Say what???? It used to be that Cheektowaga was the top town in Erie County for Democratic candidates, until Max became chairman and drove the town committee into the ground. Now the town is a punch line county-wide, but you can't blame the GOP, heck, you got to give them credit.

Max, Camille, and Magierski were all together during this Democratic downfall and have NO RIGHT WHATSOEVER to expect voters to elect any of them ever again.

Max and Pigeon in charge of the county Dem party = More gains for the GOP!

But let's be realistic. Magierski has little chance this year. Camille showed her stuff last year, and it was not pretty. The others are not even involved in politics, except Meegan, who has zero chance at anything outside West Seneca.

This is a fringe part of the Democratic Party, and they are all mouth. Most Democrats county-wide REJECT these people because they are too self-serving and downright corrupt.

Much more importantly to property tax payers (both residential and business), when it comes to corruption in politics, this is the fringe part of the Democratic Party that gives the party a bad name.

These people should be shunned by Democratic voters on Sept. 10th, and they should be run out of town on a rail!!!

Alice must be pissed with how things are going (because of no help from the County Chair) that she wants to take over the County Committee and piss off Zellner.

Everything Alice is getting she asked for. I wonder if she has the balls to admit she shouldn't have layed with flea infested dogs?

Whats pretty funny about this is Alice is giving up what is probably a pretty nice paying job as town clerk that doesnt demand much and its too late for her to try and keep her job. So she is stuck. She can't go back. At least with Diane she stays a councilman if she looses for supervisor. I dont think she will lose but still. Why Alice would give up that nice paying job to run for that other crappy one that probably pays about the same doesn't make sense. Frank Max must have gotten to her ego.

And her ties with frank and those guys are no secret. people talk about it.

    What a dumb move.

This was another blog posted on the Buffalo Chronicle Website today:

    http://buffalochronicle.com/2015/07/...nger-credible/

I make reference to the sentence from the article:

"If there’s an “asterisk” to this story, it should be the fact that in past races for Erie County Democratic Party chair, once it got around that Steve Pigeon was sponsoring a candidate, that candidate’s candidacy went bust."

With Steve Pigeon supporting Alice Magierski, I think we should say good-bye to Alice now!

The Cheektowaga Democratic Party didn't bring hope and joy to anyone. I just found out the Rep/Conservatives are not even going to run a candidate for Supervisor. Both political parties need to review their mission statements.

Wasn't Diane a Republican who turned Democrat? Maybe she changed parties figuring she would have a better chance in Cheektowaga as a Democrat
