I didn't copy and paste it right. But if you go to the link you'll see the exemption, and you can see on this tax bill that it is Vacant commercial land. Like Lee stated, that site may not be accurate.
Yes, there are FOUR on the town board
There are several such examples where assessments were not updated from sale transfers, missing records of past land transfers/sales, etc.
Hopefully, all past accounts will be righted by Mr. Marrano during the current reval process. Every time I believe I understand the system, someone comes up with another twist.
I hope Mr Marrano does make the necessary correction during the reval process.
As Mr Marrano had stated vacant land can't have an IDA exemption. Then you see incorrect information not knowing that it is incorrect and make foolish statements, speaking for myself here.![]()

do his job. Now he is updating? Gorja you rock!! Great find..
Take Apple Rubber for two hundred, Gorja.![]()
Rising,
Did you mean - Apple Rubber @ 204 Cemetery- 105.00-1-25.2 ?
They pay FULL taxes on that property.![]()
Yes, there are FOUR on the town board
As far as the cemetery road property-105.00-1-23.1, that is owned by the Lancaster IDA. a government entity, and therefore does not pay tax on the land. There is no PILOT on that property. This is not a case where the IDA is on the deed with the company that has the IDA (E&E etc)The Lancaster IDA actually owns this property. IDA's or Community Development companies can own property .
They do pay special district charges- lighting , fire, sewer etc,
Standard PILOTS given to Business are only on the Building-or the "Facility Realty". The only PILOT that ever considers land is the 5 year Business Exemption, given in an attempt to keep the Business in operation. We only have one in Town on HC Brill-Henry and Henry on Walden.
