    Looks like another great hotel is planned for our fair Town of AMHERST...wonder if this will be shoe in ...like last development on Main st.??

    Why is that a bad thing? That will add to the tax base

    Which "last development" on Main Street are you bitching about? Paladino's? Iskalo's? Both? Something else? Time for the anti- everything crybabies to throw another pity party for themselves.

    Go figure. A developer wants to build a hotel next to a large office park, a State University home to 18,000 students and right off a major expressway. All in a town with a population over 120,000 residents.

    What are they thinking?

    Is someone actively opposing this at this point?

    Also, irrespective of being "pro" or "anti" this particular project, I take issue with the elevation that was published in Buffalo Business First (link is up above somewhere). First, it depicts fully fertile trees behind the houses on Coronation. As one should know, trees in WNY are barren a substantial part of the time. Also, even with fertile trees, one can already see the existing buildings over there from Coronation.
