    Cool

HD, good points in both the Sportsman line (which I didn't remember) and the $$ issues.

However, Assembly Dem. $$ is separate from Senate Dem. $$ (Assembly Dems have piles of it, Senate Dems get piles from lack of it).

But, Assembly Dem. $$ will be better spent (after they see Max's single digit polls) on the Cole, Hayes, DelMonte, Burling, etc. races than on Max!

His 2004 win was very impressive, taking over 50% in a three way race with two very well known candidates and only one major party line.

Do you think that was because most people thought they were voting for Quinn Sr. ? I do! Have Jr. Put the Jr. after his name on the ballot this time and lets see how he does.

Then shame on MOST people. If MOST people didn't know they were voting for Jack III (by the way) then no wonder we are in the trouble we are in with the people we elect. As you know, this is a REPRESENTATIVE government!

I'll buy the argument that his father and his name helped him, but not that people thought they were voting for his father. And if you put the III (or Jr.) on his last name, that won't matter either, because people that are that uninformed will not know the difference anyway.

    Ford, Ford, Ford...

If Jack Quinn III put Jr. next to his last name then would he not then be representing himself as his father? Only Jack Quinn II would be considered Jr. Think about it Ford...before you post.

    Cool

For years people in West Seneca thought they were voting for Vince Graber, Sr. when his brother Mike was running for Councilman.

Now, Vince Jr. is on the Town Board in his second term, and (I would bet) can't even spell Councilman yet.

But Graber Jr. is the exception. Most "legacy" pols are pretty good and work hard to guard the family name. As I posted here before, look at Gorski, Volker, Hoyt, Stachowski, Quinn. Even Brian Higgins!

Jack III won two years ago with over half the vote in a tough three way race, which is in itself a feat.

I still say Max goes back to his comic books.

Jack Quinn never used II after his name at the polls. So how was I supposed to know his son was III? They should use the proper suffix just as much as they should use the prefix (Mr. & Mrs.).

    What's your advise?

Spelling is obviously not your strong suit (just like telling the truth or checking your facts before you libel someone).

    Cool

    So, a day later.....

I'm saying Jack (III or IV or VI, I don't give a ----) beats Max 70+ to 30.

Even after Mad Max goes negative on Young Jack.

    Others?

    Max is the Man.

To every good citizen in this forum. BigGuy is an "associate" of Jack Quinn. He has been paid off to post negative things about Max! This guy has been posting negative things about Max about an hour after every thing positive thing about Max. This is some scumbag corrupt bastard. BigGuy is also very ignorant and should not even be paid attention too. This is the problem with Western New York, we have too many of these corrupt people, distorting the public's mind. Hey Big Guy! I have traced your IP and found out all about you, so be aware there will be some consequences talking "smack" about Max, Mr. Big Guy! Who is so big now??

    Cool

    And now, back to reality.....

I was at the Boston Parade, etc. on Saturday and saw Jack Quinn, but I didn't see Max Tresmond. Is he avoiding community-wide events, or just staying home?
