    This about sums things up!

    -------------------------------------

    THE ANT AND THE GRASSHOPPER

This one is a little different....
Two Different Versions! ................ Two Different Morals!

OLD VERSION: The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.

The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself
    __________________________________________________ __________

    MODERN VERSION:

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long , building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home with a table filled with food. America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green.'

Acorn stages a demonstration in front of the ant 's house where the news statio ns film the group singing, 'We shall overcome.' Rev. Jeremiah Wright then has the group kneel down to pray to God for the grasshopper's sake.

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper finishing up the last bits of the ants food while the government house he is in, which just happens to be the ant's old house, crumbles aroun d him because he doesn't maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident and the house, now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the once peaceful neighborhood.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be careful how you vote in 2010.

I don't know who wrote this but the moral hit's the nail on the head.

Seems very similar to what we have here, To a liberal anyone that made it did so by taking advantage of someone else. Then jealousy and a feeling to right a percieved wrong is initiated. Well we know how the rest of the story goes.

Liberal legislators fit that story to a tee.

Now here's a thought . . . . If you are ready for the adventure of a lifetime, try this:

a.. Go to Pakistan , Afghanistan or Iraq illegally.

Never mind immigration quotas, visas, international law, or any of that nonsense.

b.. Once there, demand that the local government provide free medical care for you and your entire family.

c.. Demand that all nurses and doctors be fluent in English, and that all food be cooked according to your special specifications if you are in the hospital.

d.. Demand that free local government forms, bulletins, etc. be printed in English.

    e.. Procreate abundantly.

f.. Deflect any criticism of this allegedly irresponsible reproductive behavior with, 'It is a cultural thing; you wouldn't understand.'

g.. Keep your original identity strong. Fly your previous country's national flag from your rooftop, or proudly display it in your front window, or on your car bumper.

h.. Speak only English at home and in public, and make sure that your children do likewise.

i.. Demand classes on English culture in the Muslim school system.

j.. Demand a local country driver license or national insurance number equivalent.

k.. This will afford other legal rights and will go far to legitimize your unauthorized, illegal, presence in Pakistan , Afghanistan or Iraq

l.. Drive around with no license or insurance and ignore local traffic laws.

m.. Insist that local country law enforcement teach English to all of its officers..

n.. Organize protest marches against your host country, inciting violence against non-white, non-Christians, and the government that let you in.

o.. Insist that your female family members not be required to cover their faces for identification photographs.

Good luck! You'll soon be dead.

It would never happen in Pakistan, Afghanistan or Iraq (or any other country in the world for that matter) except in the UK, US, Canada or Australia, because we are run by soft, politically correct politicians that are too scared to 'offend' anyone.

If you agree, pass it on.

If you don't, go ahead and try the above in Pakistan, Afghanistan or Iraq

A false belief in Utopia by certain liberal mindsets.. a belief that has to overcome the human condition and 6 million years of human evolution.

Understanding the American liberal mindset is far more difficult. Liberals speak of patriotism and love of country, but they actively undermine nearly everything our government has done in the War on Terror. They seem to believe it is their duty to represent a counterview in American policy. Although they feel it is imperative to voice the minority opinion in matters of national policy, they go so far as voicing the foreign opinion; aligning themselves against the best interests of the United States!

A more realistic scenario would be the ant owning all of the ground, the grass, the tools to build anything, and telling the grasshopper that the only way he even gets to eat is to build the ant's house for him. The grasshopper does, spends all his time working for the ant. Then when the winter rolls around and the grasshopper complains that he doesn't have his own house because the ant owns everything and had the grasshopper working for him all summer, the ant responds "why aren't you greatful for what you have? Get some personal accountability. I guess I can let you have Saturday off to build yourself a shack...but you better be back Sunday to do my laundry!"

What did they spend it's earnings on? Lotto? the track? scratch offs? Maybe if property taxes weren't so high the grasshopper could afford a modest home without the fear of the land "rent" going up every year to support... hey what type of bug is the governmental appointment type employee?

You know something, as much as I hate to admit it, I FULLY AGREE WITH THIS;There's "liberal" and there's "STUPID" and THIS is what so MANY foreigners including Muslims expect out of a sometimes FAR-TOO-TOLERANT United States.

EXCELLENT EXAMPLE, although EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO FREE, HI-QUALITY HEALTH CARE.

This email is just about scummy foreigners who B and moan about BLESSINGS in this country which they would nearly NEVER get in their homelands.

    Thanks for posting this.

    Just another forwarded email

JFK'S Secretary of State, Dean Rusk, was in France in the early 60's when DeGaule decided to pull out of NATO. DeGaule said he wanted all US military out of France as soon as possible.
Rusk responded "does that include those who are buried here?
    DeGuale did not respond.
You could have heard a pin drop

When in England , at a fairly large conference, Colin Powell was asked by the Archbishop of Canterbury if our plans for Iraq were just an example of empire building by George Bush.
He answered by saying, 'Over the years, the United States has sent many of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those that did not return.'
You could have heard a pin drop.

There was a conference in France where a number of international engineers were taking part, including French and American. During a break, one of the French engineers came back into the room saying 'Have you heard the latest dumb stunt Bush has done? He has sent an aircraft carrier to Indonesia to help the tsunami victims. What does he intended to do, bomb them?'
A Boeing engineer stood up and replied quietly: 'Our carriers have three hospitals on board that can treat several hundred people; they are nuclear powered and can supply emergency electrical power to shore facilities; they have three cafeterias with the capacity to feed 3,000 people three meals a day, they can produce several thousand gallons of fresh water from sea water each day, and they carry half a dozen helicopters for use in transporting victims and injured to and from their flight deck. We have eleven such ships; how many does France have?'
You could have heard a pin drop.

A U.S. Navy Admiral was attending a naval conference that included Admirals from the U.S. , English, Canadian, Australian and French Navies. At a cocktail reception, he found himself standing with a large group of Officers that included personnel from most of those countries. Everyone was chatting away in English as they sipped their drinks but a French admiral suddenly complained that, whereas Europeans learn many languages, Americans learn only English. He then asked, 'Why is it that we always have to speak English in these conferences rather than speaking French?'
Without hesitating, the American Admiral replied, 'Maybe it's because the Brit's, Canadians, Aussie's and Americans arranged it so you wouldn't have to speak German.'
You could have heard a pin drop.

Robert Whiting, an elderly gentleman of 83, arrived in Paris by plane. At French Customs, he took a few minutes to locate his passport in his carry on.
"You have been to France before, monsieur?" the customs officer asked sarcastically.
Mr. Whiting admitted that he had been to France previously.
"Then you should know enough to have your passport ready."
The American said, 'The last time I was here, I didn't have to show it."
"Impossible. Americans always have to show your passports on arrival in France !"
The American senior gave the Frenchman a long hard look. Then he quietly explained, ''Well, when I came ashore at Omaha Beach on D-Day in 1944 to help liberate this country, I couldn't find a single Frenchmen to show a passport to."
You could have heard a pin drop.
