    Demand Better from Albany

Albany is a brick ****house of institutionalized corruption. The people we sent to nominally represent us in Albany are incapable of reform, unwilling to be bold and aggressive, and nothing more than a preening flock of charity cases in Brooks Brothers suits and fat per diems.

One issue I see is that Alan is on the wrong team. I'm pretty sure he is a card carrying member of the Erie County Democrats.

You are not going to change Albany if you support the group that turned Albany into what it is. "a brick ****house of institutionalized corruption"

    Oh Res...

If you are a part of EITHER team you're part of the problem. Both parties are heavily invested in their own interests. We need a third party.
    Democrats & Republicans Suck Alike.

I'm registered IP. Does that party actually exist anymore in Erie County?

Think about the sheer numbers of people on the receiving end of our tax dollars at all levels of government.

People who actually do work for us that do a good job.

Groups of people who are truly disabled.

Elderly people who have no family that can not take care of themselves.

    Parent-less children.

    Education for children.

    Basic Maintenance for our infrastructure.

The on top of that the waste. I also consider waste when groups of people are overly paid.

On top of those items we have the BS. Everything else our tax dollars go for.

    This topic should be discussed.

Alan makes a valid point about Albany and how it operates.

My thought is why allow it to continue?

Work on removing the support from the very bottom where it effects us the most and upwards.

Which social club controlled Albany for the most part. The Democrats? The Republicans? The Green Party? The Working Family Party?

What should be funded by tax dollars? What items should not be funded by tax dollars?

Alan's report was credible, spot on and balanced. With rare exception all politicos suck! Neither major party can claim to be the party of the people. Self-preserving agendas and garnering votes trumps citizen best interests.
