So you would think this is a better solution than purchasing vans?

Looks like you can put two elderly in at a time.

...and in the winter time ?

Is that entire area generating any tax revenue yet?

Yeah, Ulrich's Restaurant/Tavetn reopened, vacant lots being gobbled up in the area, going for 10 times what they were before all this activity, homes being rehabbed, so regentrification is happening...

Got to love how this sleeze ball Attorney General Schniederman can go and ask for special permission to investigate black people dying in the hands of police but when asked to investigate gas prices he says "my office doesn't handle gas prices " Hes had YEARS to get to the bottom of gas prices.

    Hopeless

Just saw Chuck U. Schumer on the news. "6 or 7 years ago we did an investigation and we were told it was because of the world market." We all know thats BS. Hey Chuck you got this lame answer and you did DICK for 6 years, now we got to start a NEW "investigation"! For what another lame answer that isn't going to fix a thing? Another 6 or 7 years? keep on beating around the bush chuck. Who's lining their pockets on this one chuck? when are you going to give it up and let someone else be senator chuck?

Id like to take those glasses of his, break them in half and shove em up his nose. Lying, deceiving, useless bastard.

But instead they salivate over being not able to drive more for less money. because gas prices have a direct impact on the cost of goods and services. They'll keep getting fatter, thanks largely to GMOs and highly processed garbage foods and getting cancer, see above. and complaining about not being able to ruin our enviroment and exhausting our own natural resources because their fat sorry unhealthy bodies couldn't walk a mile or two to get their beer and potato chips.
well wait, do you trully believe that our resources will be exhausted with in your life time? why not just exterminate those fat lazy people so they can use any of your precious resources?

    gas prices affect everything.

what you really should be asking is, why is the price of oil falling thruogh the floor?

    something to consider....

you buy 10,000 gallons of fuel for your gas station at $3.50 a gallon. so to break even, you must charge $3.63 a gallon.

but then oil begins to drop off a cliff, and with in a week, many gas stations around you are charging $3.20 a gallon, because they paid $3.00 a gallon for 10,000 gallons.

you as an owner operator must eat that loss.

another words, depending on when you bought your fuel, vs what is still left in your tanks = how much you charge.

when oil prices fluccuate like this, you need to understand that its not 20 cents, or a cpl bucks difference, its thousands of dollars.

also, lets break down the cost of one gallon of gasoline(profit):

    big bad oil: >$0.05
    Gas station $0.10-0.15
    Government: $1.00

who is REALLY gouging us on gasoline?

the big bad oil company making pennies in profit off their product?
the big bad gas stations that must comply with retarded regulations set by and over powering govt?
or the innocent govt who adds almost a DOLLAR on the cost of gasoline?

NYS imposes some 70+ cents per gallon, then, Erie County adds their tax...

    whos really gouging who here?

There's really no need to increase gas taxes directly. They can simply install a few more traffic lights to force traffic to a standstill. The increased stop-and-go traffic increases gas consumption, thereby increasing gas tax revenues. And, the tax increase (new stop light), can be framed as a safety precaution.

I was thinking what a waste of gas when we were waiting to go through a NYS 90 toll booth. Cars were backed up 15 deep at least waiting to go through.
