does your wife plan your saturdays

thought I would have a nice restful satuday. but NO!!!!not today.we need sand for the pool filter and guess what she wants to drain the pool and clean it today.
But I do get a break the towns composting center is having an open house. some one explain why anyone would want to go to that. "SHE DOES" so off we go again Buy sand go to the open house drain and clean the pool . I knew I should have saved mowing the lawn until the week end. there is a little league game some time today I might just go flurt with some grandmothers, oops sorry watch the game wink wink.
oh boy she just found an add for a flower sale so its buy sand .open house. drain pool.go for flower sale hope hoses did not clog while we were gone. clean pool go to a baseball game watch the sabres and she has friends coming for a camp fire tonight. I'm worn out already must be nap time

Open house at the composting center?! That's what my dad would call a "rip roarin' good time!"
I'm just here to make people laugh. And to confuse people. Oh, and to irritate people.

Hey. You sound like a gem to me. You've got one lucky wife. But can't you just tell her you want time to do what YOU want to, including doing nothing at all? When my husband does nothing at all for a while, he's the most interesting, in ALL respects, creature I've ever known.

If your wife has any sense at all, she'll understand what your needs are.

And the benefits of accepting and enjoying those needs.

My husband and I are online gamers. Since we both work full time, we generally play online most of the weekend.

When I do get it into my head that I want to visit the nurseries, or plant trees, or redo my brick patio for the 3rd time this season, or something along those lines, I pick up my car keys and go. I generally try to not drag the hubby out if he's doing something he enjoys (ESPECIALLY if there's a hockey game on.)

Now... building fences or climbing roofs or removing sidewalks is something that I need help with, so I do bother him with that. Generally speaking though, if it's something I can do myself, I do it.

Thankfully, he returns those little favors and doesn't drag me to fishing expos or gaming conventions or car shows
