Just some "Campaign Money Highlights" provided by the Board of Elections. Are honest - complete disclosures being filed?
Do all those people who donate to the Lancaster Democratic Committee or to Town Board Members truly aware of where their money goes?

Would you as a "Campaign" donor want to pay for "Club Dues" , Magazines subscriptions, tickets for private "Political" events, donations in the Candidates name, charity donations in the candidates name?

If one wish to harp on integrity and honesty - wheres his reports - why is he hiding who supports him.

This will be their spin: We are new at this game, our staff didn't realize it was needed, Mr.Amatura assumed it was done, we will correct it later.

First they launch a bogus assault on Highway Superintendent Richard Reese - then they slander him in the Bee tabloid (Paid for with tax dollars).

They then ignore Election law and not file legal documents when supposed to.

Typical Lancaster Controlling Member tactics.

Lancaster's Democratic Voters hold the key - support a corrupt Committee or send a message - Re-Elect the only working elected official in Lancaster Richard Reese - or elect another developer friendly party clone!

Primary Day - Its your choice.

Even if he's supporting himself - reports are due. Unless he has had no fundraisers - no donations - some unknown person paid for signs - some unknown person paid for campaign materials - some ones not complying with the laws.

As far as running money through the Lancaster Democratic Committee - supposedly they are broke -

Candidates are obligated to file campaign financial disclosures unless they have an authorized committee which has registered with the Board of Elections and the candidate is not going to raise or spend money themselves, except through their authorized committee.

In this case, the candidate must only file a form CF-16 (Candidate's Authorization for a Committee to make Campaign Financial Disclosures). This statement names the candidate's authorized committee that will file the financial disclosure statements on the candidate's behalf.

The committee must file the form CF-02 (Committee Registration/Treasurer and Bank Information) and CF-03 (Committee Authorization Status).

If the named treasurer does not file these documents (CF-02 & CF-03) which indicate that he/she has accepted the responsibility for filing the financial reports, then that responsibility remains with the candidate.

I happened to pass by the vacant house yesterday and looked for an address. the numbers are either gone or I couldn't see them. it's the last house standing between flix and the drug store.

The last 2 houses on the south side of William St before Transit Rd -
4733 & 4737 belong to S K DEVELOPMENT OF WNY. They paid $370,000 for 4733 William which is assessed at $100,000 and paid $160,000 for 4737 William which is assessed at $92,000.

I've never heard of them before. Do they go by another name??

Heres another fine example of who's sticking what to who?

This is a favorite trick played over and over.

The Developer/Investor : paid $370,000 for 4733 William St. - he pays that much because it has "Commercial Value" - not to the past home owner - but to him - lets say the developer owns property around that house - or he already has commercial interests at that property adjoining it.

He knows whats coming next - he buys the property as Residential - he leaves it vacant - it then becomes a tax right off because of lost potential income - he also gets the added benefit of a lower assessed value($100,000.00) because his friend in the assessors office may not have seen the sale listed - so he pays the lower taxes

Now heres another part of that game - they let the property rot - it then becomes an eye sore - WHY would they do that? Well maybe to effectively use that parcel - it needs some rezones - well the Town Board acts like by granting re-rezones that they wouldn't normally (I have never seen one) and to help relieve the neighborhood of this eye sore - the Town Approves another marginal use, incorrectly rezoned property. Including the rezone from residential(less taxes) to commercial (higher value - more taxes - but not if used for a road.) and the investor/contributor makes a killing.

Now, if that property becomes a "access road" - the tax payers end up paying to ploy and maintain it in the long run - BINGO!

Same game : Investor/Contributor paid $160,000 for 4737 William which is assessed at $92,000. -

But, as we all know - the Town Board will deny any connection between themselves, the assessors mistakes and the coincidence that a favored developer/contributor owns the property or will benefit from it.

As the Judge said, "It ain't illegal - just bad Government."
