Again bad pork spending

Senator Antoine Thompson gives a check for 40000 dollars to the Grand Island schools. I am a island resident and cannot believe the state is so easily handing over such a large amount of money to a wealthy school system. The island schools have a hidden account balance of 3.5 million which was discovered by the state audit. Yet our senator still hands out our tax money to this school system which still bleeds every homeowner on the island for more tax money. Why Senator Thompson cannot use this money for poor school districts is beyond me. I have to believe he is just looking for votes from the school unions here on the island. This corruption just has to stop. If there must be pork spending then at least spend it on worthwhile needy projects. Not a wealthy school district. Will the albany insanity ever stop. I think not.
