I wonder since Mrs/Mr Mary Holtz has a Town Car does she pay for her own Gas and use on the Town Car? If so was it started from the beginning or was it started after her Accident? Speaking of Accident why wasnt it ever reported she had this Accident?.....I as well will be looking into the Health Insurance to see who gets it andwho doesnt. I was told by Town Hall I can get the Info if I foil the info it will be very interesting to see who is on whose plan.

town cars over the years many officials took town cars home on taxpayers expense. Pd, chief, asst chief, and a capt. all have brand new black chevy suv's why? none are marked, free gas, and insurance why? how about the town engineer car goes home from what im told.

Why do we do this? In some cases we pay our employees rather well when add up the entire compensation package.

its all politics why did cheek need a asst chief after many years of none? res its all politics, so they make an asst chief pay raise, now they give him a SUV.. to take home.. the more they make in this town the more they get.

That's the way it all works - from Party Committee's haveing to much sway in hiring - every level of our Political system has built in hand out/patronage.

Every level has built in cookies/patronage jobs - as we see with cases like the County Execs Brother - X Lancaster Parks/Committee Boss - they bounce around like little tax fed bunnies. From one position to another - each with its own built in layer of tax funded perks.

Politicians are supported by Committees and their devoted Party Line Voters. Anyone from the Town Clerk to the cleaning person owes something to the Committee/Party.

The elected ones are just talking heads for they system/people who support them. If it takes a tax funded car to make someone happy - its done ! If a party players brother, sister, mother or cousin carries enough petitions/signs/donates correctly - they get a job.

They see this as normal - they are "entitled" - they feel they or their parents earned it by being "Loyal Party Players".

Its all tax funded and its all part of what Nogods calls, "The Winner take all game of Politics"


In the mean time - our sewers collapse, roads crumble, water lines rot and rupture - because they don't vote !

Yes, everyone knows all this Party crad is happening and has been the standard for years and years.

But the true question is do tax paying Party Line Voters care ?

Are they so locked into Democrat=Democracy ? So many are still blinded by old school ideals about their "Duties" as Party Members.

They believe if your registered Democrat you cant or shouldn't cross that line. Even when you know that guy knocking on your door - collecting signatures is the next in line for a tax funded job/appointment/patronage!

They know when petition time starts - they wait to sign the petition - they listen as their Committee rep tells them why they need to stay the course and not trust the other crooks.

They know it - they've lived with it - they eat at the restaurants owned by party members and their families. They drink their beers at their buddies bar !

How much are residents willing to pay in taxes to continue to support this system ?

You need to put this in perspective and everyone involved. Basically the town board allowed this to fester. Same faces year after year.

Same political party benefiting if he was doing political fund raising work on our time. Everyone reviewed the phone records. It was like a who's who in Erie County Politics. If it isn't the same face it is a person from the same controlling group on our town board. The Cheektowaga Democratic Party. Angela gets elected. She isn't in the Cheektowaga Democratic Party "click" and the board basically blocks any attempt to correct possible issues our town has.
