    Lightbulb

That's how it goes - they depend on the Bufnews and main stream media ignoring these things.

But don't worry - he'll pop up in some other tax funded position - its all he's ever done. Like other past Politicians - maybe a local developer/business owner will pick him up. He could sell cars or work at a car rental agencies. Maybe he can hang out with the County Boys and then run for Supervisor -

Maybe his other "Private Investment" will carry him for a while ?

It must suck to be him right now - finding out after all this time he's just brushed aside. Don't worry to much - he'll pop up given his newer family ties - there's more than just Lancaster ties to help bail him out now !

The problem with being the head of a local dirty trick squad is the big boys know what he's capable of - so who's gonna trust him ?

Once you loose the ability to hand out insider jobs - what juice does one have ?

Well - well must be one hell of a deal for Mr.Parks Boss - his resignation states "19 years" as Parks Boss ! Now I do believe he can use his one term stint with the County to secure a tax funded retirement.

He hit the tax funded "Political Lottery"

So if all this works out correctly - he can do like Councilmember Stempniak did. She resigned from the Town Board - combined that time with her tax funded school teaching time and BINGO ! - One nice tax funded monthly check from the state retirement system - then goes back on the Town Board and continues to collect her tax funded Town check and State retirement money.

Mr.Parks Boss could resign - collect his tax funded Town retirement and then get a new tax funded check from the water Department/Authority ! Or, they can simply reappoint him to another tax funded position - same double dip scenario applies !

If that doesn't work out - they can do what they did for Robb Poloncarz - he got caught sneaking into the water Department - after all the public and media attention - they switched him over to a vacant position in the Dem Board of Elections at $53,000.00.

They sure do know how to play the tax funded winner take all game !
    __________________________________________________ _______________________________________________

Robb M. Poloncarz, a former chef, was hired in late August 2012 by the Water Authority to fill a vacant position of contract monitor at a starting salary of $55,132. According to authority officials, he was hired on a provisional basis, contingent upon finishing in the top three of those who took a civil service exam in hopes of being hired permanently in the position – something he failed to do.

Poloncarz was relieved of his job at the Water Authority the day after Thanksgiving.

“He has been out of the authority now since the end of November,” Brian Gould of e3communications, a spokesman for the Water Authority, said Thursday.

Gould said the exam was administered through the Erie County Department of Personnel.

Meanwhile, Dennis Ward, Democratic commissioner of the Board of Elections, confirmed Thursday that Robb Poloncarz started his new job Monday. Ward did not specify any title that he holds but said he has been undergoing initial training for a reorganization of the department that will go into effect next month.

Robb Poloncarz’s previous job of contract monitor at the Water Authority had long been vacant before he was hired to fill it. The position had a range of responsibilities, including monitoring contracts, analyzing current market conditions and changing regulatory processes affecting the industry, monitoring the progress of projects to ensure compliance with regulations and contract provisions, and consulting with department heads on acquisition of property and the letting of contracts, among other duties.

At the time Robb Poloncarz was hired, the authority was criticized for not having advertised the job opening,

So you could be a high school grad or not - supervised a small lawn cutting business - use part time Town service to help qualify .

But look at all the impressive sounding duties - WOW !!! It sounds so complicated - I guess that's why the high tax funded pay and tax funded benefits !

No collage educational requirements ? How come they left out, "Working Political relationship with the Lancaster Dem Committee"? ? ? ? ? ?

Lets say a persona fills out the application - I wonder if each one will be time stamped and entered into the Towns permanent records ? They will most likely be given to the Board Members - the Supervisor and the Town Clerk - so shouldn't they be made public ?

Or will they simply state, "WE picked who we considered to be appropriate" ? ? ?

Too bad Langworthy can't raise the red flag with this one, but it would be like the pot calling the kettle black. Thanks for the help Nick.

Wasn't this the guy that they created a Crew Chief patronage job for at $68,000.00 a year. In return for not running against Supervisor Bob Giza.

His appointment caused the Union to file complaints of improper hiring practices. To appoint him the usurped the seniority practices - he wasn't even employed at the Parks Department when he was appointed.

His hiring cost tax payers a good chunk of money - Town Attorney and Supervisor Giza settled it by creating another tax funded crew chiefs position for the correct senior employee - end result - tax funded legal fees - two patronage positions costing tax payers $136,000.00 in salaries also tax funded - tax funded benefits and tax funded pensions for two more "Party Players"

Now this same guy wants to be placed in charge of the whole Department in front of every other qualified worker or applicant ! Their sence of entitlement never ends.

I also like the way he claims to have actually performed most - if not all the duties Parks Boss/Party Controller McCracken was supposed to have been doing !

So what was Committee Controller/Parks Boss McCracken doing ?

Next Party Faithful/Terries Boy S. Ciacoccti will throw his papers in - or maybe not - he has a hard enough time running his outside landscaping business. But then again being a "Boss" in political patronage positions does mean more free time !

There's a few well qualified persons within the Parks Department that are hard working and well qualified.

But then again, when the main qualifications requires "Party Loyalty" with barely a high school education and knowledge of a lawn more ?
