Who is in control of Broadway and Borden road is it Lancaster or Cheektowaga ? Because I like to know when will this corner get fixed and when will the creek overpass be fixed. All spring and now most of the summer and nothing is being down it is a dangerous corner with all those potholes and well as the creek overpass road peeling off.

I didn't know this I think all county roads should be marked by signs stating it is county responsibility to keep their roads in good working order. i will fire off a letter to the DOT.

I'll fire off to both under my ABATE member status under road safety issues for motorcycles. I guess this also goes for Union and Galleria drive because only certain parts have been paved but the left potholes on Galleria drive untouched closes to corner to union road.

Our County Exec. Don't you all remember how Alan Bedenko and crew hammered Chris Collins about the conditions of our parks? Well don't you think our road conditions are more important based on safety reasons?

no no you have that all wrong. According to the Govt, all roads are in EXCELLENT shape unless someone complains.

So the moral of the story is that not only are govt workers over paid, they also wont do their jobs till someone one bitches.

and when they do fix the roads why does it seem they don't last as long as they originally lasted the first time they were made? We always had winters. Are the road building materials not as good no compared to years ago?

I wonder how other towns with the same weather patterns we have build their roads.

Using cheaper asphalt product for top coat also they are no longer using the two process hard base, then top coat sealer which prevents the roads from peeling.

Apparently priorities are not proper. Our community needs money spent on items that effect the home owners quality of life etc... Not spent on 6 figure salaries throughout various "Government Inc" departments. That is what happens when you have a monopoly of services in geographical areas.
