Downtown condos selling for $1 million

Five condominiums have been purchased at more than $1 million each in the new Avant building on Delaware Avenue. Besides the 28 planned condos, the building — a renovation of the old Dulski Federal Office Building — also will house a hotel and five floors of office space.

“People aren’t just buying the views or having room service from the hotel’s four restaurants below. They are buying having 50 restaurants within walking distance, as well as the Theater District and HSBC [Arena].”

The collection of 28 units is the most expensive block of condos ever built in the Buffalo area, with an average asking price of $777,000. Two of the units have prices below $400,000, but 18 are over $500,000, and eight top $1 million. The most expensive is $1.73 million.

As of now, Griggs said, the least expensive condo still available is priced at $465,000, while only three of the premium residences are left.
That would be so cool, room service to your home

It's blowing my mind, also. I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why this development project is taking off like it has. (I work in a peripheral concern, btw.)

I just hope there isn't a fraud of some sort involved.

I would guess Redfin or any other larger Realtor database.
