Is Hanley and Hart helping the Clark faction back in?

Recently the Town Board re-created the office of the Town Comptroller and appointed Jean NiHill to the position.

Curious enough that NiHill lives virtually around the corner from Hanley but at the address of the old Clark & Koller office (1325 Union Road) is the offices of Clark, NiHil & High, LLP, coincidence?

    Contrast:

Councilman Hart stated that change is difficult and there were changes made at this meeting, but he wanted the public to know they were making the changes with the interest of the Town of West Seneca and taxpayers at heart and the changes are not political"
    With:

Tim Elling, who contributed money to Hanley’s campaign, was named the new chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals at the Jan. 2 reorganization meeting. Clarke questioned Elling’s experience. During the exchange, Councilman Eugene P. Hart, who defeated Clarke for the position in 2011, did concede that the hiring was “somewhat political.”

Maybe it is time someone looks into the West Seneca Lions club. While the organization performs outstanding service for the community a few bad apples may be conducting politics.
