Statement from Legislator Iannello on Kevin Hardwick

Statement from Legislator Iannello on Kevin Hardwick
    Contact: Michele Iannello
    Phone: (716) 812-5283
“Obviously the County Executive has found a candidate who will support his agenda of
raising taxes and giving pay raises to patronage employees. Given Mr. Hardwick’s record
on the Tonawanda City Council he is the ideal candidate; Mr. Hardwick not only raised
taxes but also voted to raise his own pay. Considering his pledges in his past races to
support 90% of Joel Giambra’s agenda, there is no doubt he will be the “Rubber Stamp”
that Mr. Collins is looking for.
“I look forward to talking to the voters over the next several months about my record of
never voting for a tax increase, fighting for real reform and cutting the cost of Erie
County government. It will be an easy choice for the voters in November, can they really
afford the higher taxes Mr. Collins and Mr. Hardwick are planning for them?
“Unfortunately, it seems Mr. Collins is talking out of both sides of his mouth while he
continually bashes career politicians he turns around and has now decided to support a
candidate who has spent the last 35 years running for political offices. I guess we can file
his attacks on career politicians right next to his pledge to cut taxes.”

I don’t know much about this Iannello chick….

When I lived in the Ken-Ton area I once heard she was so embarrassed by her husband that she refused to take his name when they were married.

I also was told that if she and her husband fought in “Celebrity Deathmatch” she would take him in 5 of 7 bouts….????

Michelle is a great woman for the position. She got her bad rap with Chris Collins because he didn't follow normal procedure on certain matters. More importantly, the legislators were left out of the loop when their voice should have been heard according to normal procedure. One issue being the contract that was initially awarded to one of Chris Collins' company. It never went to the legislators and apparently it should have.

    Wards????

Aren't they the idiots that make the Amherst Town Board meeting go until 2am?

No wonder she kept her name?

What was it, some type of arranged marriage or was it a "Clinton" type of marriage to benefit their career's?

Enough: I think you are referring to Dan Ward. Michelle is married to Dennis Ward.

And you think that's a good thing???

Of course it was "well attended" with a bunch of deep pocket idiot financial supporters that believe in the "status quo" and are looking to receive something on "backside".

I'm trying to keep an open mind here because honestly, I think Hardwick is an idiot too!

But now my "Incumbent B.S." Meter just went WAY UP!!!!!!!

Which is the same way the purchasing dept. handled it in 2006 when Armor got the contract, according to Mr. Poloncarz.

"The purchasing officials did not draw up a contract for Volland because they were treating the company’s service as a simple purchase. Similarly, they didn’t draw up a contract in 2006, when they last hired a company to fix the sewer system motors. That was two years before Collins took office as county executive."
