    Where's Your Family?

Tomorrow I fly out of here w/my 21 yr old daughter to California. She got hired (she doesn't even graduate 'till May) by Los Angeles County Department of Public Works as part of their civil engineering team and they are flying her out for a 3 day orientation. I'm going with her to scope out neighborhoods for her to relocate to.

My son left two years ago for opportunities in Philadelphia.

When my kids were younger I heard from older friends that their kids were all moving away after college. Is this true; where's YOUR family?

Hey, buffy---one of mine is in NYC and the other in Arizona. Makes life interesting. (3 here unwillingly, Clarence, Hamburg and Kenmore)
My daughter was snapped up, like yours, before she graduated and she WENT--and had to take classes and finish a semester to get her diploma in Journalism, but she did it.
They never would have done as well here. It's sad, because they never do relocate back.

I'm one of the rare breed that came to Buffalo for college and ended up staying, so my parents have to come here to see us. Traveling 7 hours with a two year old gives me a good excuse not to drive, fly, or be catapulted back to pennsyltucky.
