Should There Be A Tax Audit For All Politicians ???

In view of all the tax evaders found lately, do you think it would be worth government's time to audit all politician's tax returns over the past 7 years.

I totally agree that all politicians tax returns should be audited. I do not like what has happened so far to Obama's appointees. I'm sure Bush's appointees did the same (as well as Clinton's, etc.), but the media didn't cover those.

I totally agree Brandon. It really ticks me off to hear one after the other evading taxes.

Yeah but Clinton and Bush didn't claim to be the man of "change" as Obama did! If he wants to make those claims he will face more scruteny (sp) it's called responsibility!

Obama just got in and I am willing to give him some time for reform.

I am more concern at the state level.. To much is going on behind closed doors.

To hear the Senate Democrats state there will be needed reforms. Then to watch how they are starting to play the same game of 3 men in a room really pisses me off.

We lost all our Senority in WNY and they gave away the store to NYC.

Let see if they pass the Bottle Bill.. That is a no brainer. I bet the lobbyists pays them off.
Kiss someone that's different. It helps.
Lets get the facts first, then go for the jugular!!
It's all transparent, just read between the lines..

A great place to start is the fact that 15% of the people empolyeed in NYS work for some form of govt and that doesn't include the teachers!

How about when petterson put a NYS "hiring freeze" but then within a week hires 30k new people!

How about in NYC their are no property taxes only income taxes, so people people like movie starts can buy a multi million dollar penthouse on park ave and a dump in NH and not have to pay a cent in NYS income taxes, while living in NYC!

Can I swear???? This really ticks me off. I didn't know this. What's the purpose of the dump in New Hampshire. Do they have to own property in another state in order to get a free ride in NYC????

If you live in NH you don't pay INCOME TAX. So if you buy a 50K condo, you can claim it as your MAIN residence hence you don't pay NYS income tax!

Are you sure about that? I think the income tax goes by from where your income is derived, not where you live?
