LASIK eye surgury

Has anyone on board had this done locally? I'm looking looking into getting this proceedure done and would like to hear your opinions about the different Doctors, prices, ect. I was thinking of going with fichte endl & elmer eyecare and curious of experiences anyone has had with them. Thank you.

Someone (local) asked the same question today on Facebook for his wife. It seems that Fichte was the top choice of those who posted.

When my son asked for LASIK eye surgery, I took him to to the Fichte office on Niagara Falls Blvd in Amherst because I had heard they were the best. Dr. Fichte did the surgery. My son has been absolutely thrilled with the results. I don't remember exactly how much it cost, but it was somewhere between $3,000 - $3,500.
