They have checks good, see if they will loan me some hehe... I've been telling Cheeks parks board westwood is the best town park they really didn't like hearing that statement hehehe...I'm so nasty sometimes.Originally posted by therising

Something about Westwood feels fake...not sure what it is...or why....I used to work on Commerce Drive in Amherst, and it has that same "overmanicured" feel to it...
The clock is a nice touch, but the park just doesn't have a natural feel to it...it has the feel of man trying to imitate the natural feel...like stuff in a Pottery Barn catalogue...or a "Montana's Steakhouse"
It feels like a new development in the 'burbs. No large trees other than on the perimeter. New trees just like the ones that are put on the curb when a new house is built.
I'm not complaining, it is a nice park and I do frequent it once in awhile.
