With Erie County Government being in such hard financial times and that in turn affecting all of the municipalities in Erie County, why is it that some politicians want to continue spending taxpayers hard earned money on unneeded projects and/or equipment? It seems to me that the politicians have forgotten the old saying "If you can't pay for it in cash , make do with what you have or learn to do without".
