Eyes balls and getting the word out.

    So far for June 2012..

Unique visitors not including search engines: 33055 Unique IPs. June 1st to June 24th.Googlebot visited over 350,000 time to read what we post up. Google also looks for links to other websites. Once it finds those links the google bots usually visit those sites within 24 hours to index the content. Plus we have yahoo, Bing, and others indexing what we talk about on speakup.

Now lets go back to the 33,000 readers.

Some of the primary races in our community are won by a small amount of votes. Thinking about it some of the general election/school budget items are won by only a few hundred votes.

If you can sway just 1% of 33,000 people that could equal 330 votes but it goes deeper than that. Some of those 1%er's might have family members that also vote. Those 330 voters may tell two friends and so on.

    As example:

    http://www.buffalonews.com/city/scho...icle911616.ece

Cheektowaga-Sloan voters say no again; budgets pass in Niagara Wheatfield, Wyoming

The budget was defeated, 660-434, while the bus service proposition went down, 669-419.
226 votes and 250 votes made the difference.

As of yesterday 38128 Unique Visitors....... Why am I bringing this up? Quite a few local elections are won by a few hundred votes. Out of those 38000 people at least a few vote.

Anyone recall how many local races are occasionally decided by less than 1000 votes? 500 votes?

If you look back in Lancaster the average between winners and losers is only about 300/400 +/-.

Some cant explain why the Depew part usually reports last yet seems to usually carry the incumbents for Lancaster?
No tax funded patronage job, not running for Office , I speak for myself.
When will voters out number tax funded employees at the polls?

Speakup is off to an awesome start for July...

6598 unique visitors in 4 days... which included one sunday and holiday which are normally slow days...

here is a popular search term speakup triggered

"buxom bandit gets away with loot"

I just popped that term into google and speakup triggered over cnn. Not too bad for googly results. Those results will fluctuate.
