    I'll ask it differently...

Are you ok with a political town chairman who works for any town being paid by our seniors and children (their parents) in the way of property taxes to conduct political business on town time? Yes or No.

I asked for your general opinion.

Our you ok with a party chairman (Republican, IP, Democrat, Conservative or Green Party) conducting political work while working at his government job during work hours. Yes or no? That is a pretty general question.

Yes I am ok with them. Their opinion counts as much as your opinion. They are a part of our community as much as you are. Why would your opinion be any more important than someone else's? Remember, families in our community have problems, wants and needs different that you.

There are examples where some of our employees are over paid when you factor in how pensions/bene's are calculated and when the system is taken advantage of. Over all there are many cases where our employees are paid fairly, work their asses off and deserve every penny they receive.

Secondly some senior services can maybe be ran more efficiently, maybe are not cost effective or maybe could be expanded. You just can't say "they want to cut senior services"... A fair number of seniors have never stepped foot in the senior center and you need to take their interests into consideration.

No, I think that we should increase police and teacher positions as well as their compensation while maintaining or increasing services to seniors!

Are you participating on this forum from Athens? I was just wondering since it doesn't say where you are from Jbird. But my guess is somewhere from a struggling EU country.
