Did Socialism just kill Obama's chance of winning this year?

As many already know, France and Greece desided they didn't want to work hard or sacrifice anything and took a MASSIVE left hand turn yesterday during there elections. France voted, for the first time in 25 years, a Socialist President and Greece voted in large numbers of radical left wing memeber to parlament.

Both of these groups promised, more taxes, more govt spending and more govt jobs. This morning, the World Bank said that Greece's 100+ billion loan is now on hold and they expect Greece to go under just before the US elections. They also expect that France will be in Greece's state in less then 15 months.

Both of these actions will bring the economy of the EU to a halt and they expect markets to drop. This will cause the American Markets to drop and a good chance that by Oct and Nov we are back to not creating any more jobs.

Obama's only option will be for the US to loan Greece and France more money. We all know this won't go over well in the US.

Will the elections in France and Greece doom any chance Obama had?

Right now the USA Today poll has Obama and Romney in a dead heat, but they give Romney a 15 point lead over Obama when it comes to the economy.

I'm tapped out in helping foreign governments stay afloat. It's bad enough we have our own government spending like it's going out style....

I didn't realize that President Obama has enough of his own money to bail countries out.

I happen to HATE the fact that we not only lend - but give - so much money in foreign aid. Including to ****ers like Afghanistan.

However, do you really believe that most people are so stupid as to believe that this is an issue that is exclusive to Obama? And, that if Romney wins, we'll suddenly stop with the foreign aid?

It has nothing to do with party. It has everything to do with who was in power at the time. Bush won the first time because the economy was faltering at the end of 2000 under Clinton and the dot com buble burst.

As for foreign aid, there is a big difference between giving money to build roads, school and water lines and 10 times as much so people in Greece can retire at 55...

By the way I don't believe in foreign aid.

Your correct... that is why the man who should be our next president is Ron Paul. He doesn't believe in helping other countries with our money. You can by free choice send as much money of your own money to any country you want. Less layers of government would do us good.

I don't remember the 2000 election (I'm much too young,) but if it's true that Bush won because of a faltering economy, well, isn't that ironic? Cause by the time he handed over the presidency 8 year later, the economy was at historic levels of bad. So, I guess he showed us.

Anyway, how would Romney handle foreign aid? Or, if anyone else had been in the drivers seat for the past four years, how would they have handled it?

Sure Ron Paul makes some good points, the but the only person crazier than him is the person who says "Your correct... that is why the man who should be our next president is Ron Paul. I have no idea... I'm sure you can find Romney's e-mail or twitter and ask him.
