I mean,, you can get your whole family jobs when you are on the school board, plus , go to Jamica with your spouses,, thats just a few of the little perks. If all these school teachers, etc. lived in LA we would probably NOT be considered a blighted community at all!
BTW: What is the average salary in LA again...........

20-10/11/12' LA poverty figures are published in Business First to be at 33%.........AND advanced Regents diplomas are 10%.........we get 1 STAR out of 5 rating.
We spend $17,800 per pupil and rank 96 for appr. 1800 kids.......compared with the City of Tonawanda who ranks 39 and has appr. 1900 kids.....who spend $14,990 per pupil comparitively.
    Tonawanda: Teacher starting salary $33,600 ---medium $51,400------PEAK $ 72,100 1 Star
Lackawanna: "" $43,000--- '''' $65,700-----PEAK $94,200 5 Stars ---the only thing LA got 5 stars for, the teachers pay.

The reports on rocdoc do NOT include secretaries--custodians--,etc.!
