Shafted by fellow brothers ....... Unthinkable.

Based on the clear & concise explanation, I would like to at least see them changed from "un elligable" to whatever the opposite is.

Shafted? I think not. Facts are facts.

If they didnt meet the points, they didnt meet the points. Cant deny that.

And as I said before, I am no longer a fireman but understand and respect all they do for us.

This forum was only to deal with the Power Points Plus Program.

Why you left or how you were treated on the way out is non of our business.

In closing, yes, I have the utmost respect and confidence in the Town Board as well as the Highway Department.

I must now return to ‘Another Fire Hall’.

I believe it's call a Mutual Aid plan. Most if not all the fire companies around that area are doing it (as a responsible Chief should pre-plan) during the day time for the man power shortage? Quite honestly, why would anyone want to join the fire companies out there when you read all the BS on how the your Town of Boston and it's Officials (?) support them.

I totally agree with you. Who would want to volunteer for anything in the Town of Boston. You have officials who have lied to and about their OWN town VOLUNTEER fire companies, then in the next breath try to make nice with them and even try to get respect by talking about Boston Fire Company's past heroes. Jay, you have to EARN that respect, and that is something you have NOT done for the us the taxpayers of this town. By the way, I laugh every time you make a snide remark about someone being anonymous. You too were hiding under the cloak of anonymity until someone put you on the spot at the Town Board meeting and directly asked you if you were participating in the SpeakUp WNY blogs under the screen name "4 Boston". Of course unless you were going to lie AGAIN, you had to admit that it was you. That was the only reason you "came out".
These "respected" town officials are also systematically picking the Planning Board and other VOLUNTEER boards apart and putting their own cronies in there. Another reason for people to NOT volunteer. GREAT JOB Jay,Marty, & Jeff........I can't wait until next November because I WILL VOLUNTEER to do everything I can to knock your sorry butts out of office.

Well now. That is interesting. If I had 4 or 5 hours of my life to waste, I would run though the facts for you in the whole version. Instead, I will give you the edited version.

Well before anyone, (Jim Putla) asked me at any Board meeting about my screen name, I had already been signing it. For over a month, in fact. That was the only way you (and friends) figured it out. Quite honestly, you and your leaders are not that bright.

When we had to move the special meeting into the community room, he (Jimmy Boy) asked me if "I wrote this post?" and the poor fella was waiving around a piece of paper. Kind of flailing. Kind of pathetically.

That would be the same meeting were I said if the fireman did not sign the contract they would be a "business without a customer". I remember all of it. I was there.

When I told old Jimmy Boy that “yes, I wrote that” he shut his trap and sat down.

Not being able to handle the pressure of TRUTH, he soon resigned from the Board. You could actually see that bitty piece of tail between his legs as he walked out of the room.

It is really too bad that the minutes of the meeting do not reflect the applause. If you were there, you heard it.

Now come on folk’s. If you were there, that is what you saw. There can be no variation to the facts. You may not like it, but that is what happened.

Just so we are clear, the post that “Jimmy Boy” was talking about was that ‘powerless and pathetic” piece that you boys and girls love to rave about. Sadly, it is still true today.

    Not taking it back.

    Not retracting.

Still fighting for the tax payer.

Make up all the crap you want about me and my friends. Be very careful, because I am watching the line.

In the end, the PEOPLE know the truth. They know good government. They know COMMON SENSE!!

    Have a nice Easter!!

I don't have to be careful, because everything I have said is the TRUTH. The people in that room that night clapped because they supported Jim's decision to step down. He no longer could be part of the trainwreck that you and your friends are driving. I don't blame him. As far as your comments about pathetic (You really like that word), it just shows your arrogance. Thats okay, keep up the "good" work and we will see you in November 2013.....

Joe (From down the road) just called.

Normally he fills his own pool, but he wanted me to ask if he lets you fill his pool, are there any points awarded for the call.

If so, can he request the filling without points?

No, it is not a point. Just a courtesy to local neighbors, and it doesnt matter anyway because no companies in town have filled pools for anyone in almost 2 years. Since you keep dragging that pool thing up, thought you should know.
