Councilman Dale Clarke again showed the voters why he will be a one term
councilman.
A volunteer who collected signatures for the downsizing, also spends
every weekend doing literature drops to town residents on the value of
downsizing.
This past weekend Clarke, in his pickup truck received a call from one of his supporters in Fisher Court area,
that our volunteer was delivering literature
door to door. Clarke followed the volunteer as he and his wife
delivered the literature and finally stopped the volunteer
and asked him if he was a resident of WS, if he had a permit to deliver material door to door.
Clarke tried to intiminate this 70 year old man
and his wife. When questioned at the board meeting,
he refused to answer why he was so interested in what the
man and his wife were doing.

To Clarke:
We as citizens and voters have the right to pass out material to inform the
residents of the merits of downsizing.
We do not need a permit to deliver literature. If we do you better stop the
Buffalo News carrier and the kid that delivers the Pennysaver. I'm sure you
can intiminate those people.

Finally, grow up Clarke, the volunteer also asked you why you followed
him home, found out where he lived and returned later with a McDonalds
QuarterPounder Container filed with dog carp, with a note to our volunteer
that was to vulgar to repeat in this forum. Maybe after this is over you
will act like an adult and let the chips fall where they may.

You owe the gentleman and his wife an appology, but guess what, I won't
hold my breathe.

You are so worried about Christine Bove losing her seat
that you will do and say anything to help her.
You should read some of the minutes of the
TB meetings you attended as a concerned citizen prior to being elected
to the TB, in fact if you go to the TB meeting of 6/26/06, where you
made a comment about appointments to Bldg. & Grounds Departments
"Mr. Clarke thought that Supervisor Clark should represent ALL THE PEOPLE
OF WEST SENECA and not just his family and personal friends."

Perhaps this has gotten too personal. After all, we are only just citizens of a town and want the best for it. In the same way, this whole action is so obviously a personal attack upon these three individuals in the disguise of a down size referendum. Everyone is having fun roasting these people, but once you have accomplished your goal the victory will be hollow with dictator WP at the helm.
BTW Lucky, the Jets are having second thoughts as to the wisdom of bringing Farve to NYC. Farve was offered 20 million to disappear, and go figure, he didn't take it.

LL is ashamed of his hero Farve to the point of removing his picture. It was never the best, and he is getting worse. He has not helped the Jets, in fact he has hurt both his present and former team. The Jets don't have a QB, they have a curiousity.

First of all Larry, maybe you should do your homework on downsizing the Town Board and the ramifications of the downsizing. Have you seen the 2009 Town budget???? What we need to do is downsize the Town payroll. Let's get rid of the Tax Collector. We don't need the $150,000 that the Tax collector department costs us. We are talking about roughly an expense of $60K for two less TB members?? I would prefer not to have everything "rubber stamped" by Wally and his "pet". We need the checks and balances with the TB status quo. WS would be the only town in NYS to have insufficient representation. Then again how many Dog catchers do we need? There is so much in the Town Budget that can be consolidated instead of losing my representation. I personally have known Dale Clark since he was Winchester School. He is the most sincere caring person who is honest and truthful, not like the crap you dish out Larry. Why lie about a 70 year old couple? Dale has been fighting for the Town his heart and soul is in. Do you homework before you start spreading crap and jumping on "let's get rid of the Town Board members". As for Christina Bove....she too is all about the Town. Let's get things straight before you shoot your big mouth off on what you don't know.

No maybe you should get your facts straight, CacTus.
Payroll is a problem in WS for the past 8 years,
but blame Paul Clark for those problems. Hum,
as I recall, Bove and Graber reviewed and approved
the budgets over the last 8 years, didn't they approve
the tax increases over those years? You might want
to get a copy of the town contracts and see if you
can eliminate town jobs. I think not.

You must be kidding to this it really makes a difference
if you have 5 or 3 TB members. Just look at the votes
for anything meaningful,for the last year. 3-2,
the two being Dale and Christine.
Dale was a voice for the town prior to being elected,
he now listens to Christine.
I'll forget about downsizing, you get the TB to eliminate
the 100% paid healthcare benefit for all elected officials
past and current.
If you want the Receiver of Taxes eliminated, do the
same thing Kevin Gaughn and WS citizens have done,
collect signatures on a petition. That would involve
work on your part.
I don't even know if that is allowed by law,
you'd have to check with your wanna be attorney,
Dan Warren or have Clarke, Bove, and Graber spend
more Taxpayer money on Harris Beach,LLP.
Wait till you see what your being charged by Harris Beach
for the appeal today in Rochester.

Town of Lancaster, announced that they will have
a downsizing vote next Tuesday and let the voters
decide. I guess some TB's see the merits of downsizing
and they know who elected them-THE VOTERS.

LL, I think you need to get some of your facts straight. It is not the Town of Lancaster that is having the vote to downsize it is the Village of Lancaster and they are voting to reduce from 6 trustees down to 4 trustees. See http://www.lancastervillage.org/
