Speaking as a liberal democrat (kind of like a Leper in this neck of the woods) A line should be drawn between protest and harassment.
E mailing the office of the county executive and the legislators is one thing. Confronting them in person or on the phone at thier office is OK.
Subjecting them to abuse at home, or when the are out in public at non goverment related functions is another.
I don't like any of them either, democrats or republicans, at least not in the current incarnation. Kennedy is the only one I might cut some slack to, because he wasn't there when they unanimosly voted in Giambras first five budgets.
Aside from persona; feelings, it is just plain wrong to invade thier personal lives and the lives of thier family.
