Well they seem to be growing just fine. I stopped using the tablets they give you for nutrients. I'm using General Hydroponics Flora series now. I'm changing the water out every other fill up so I don't over concentrate the nutrients.

    General Hydroponics Nutrients

The seem very healthy. If you notice I have been pruning them rather heavily.

    AeroGarden Tomatos

The general hydroponic nutrients gave me lots of tomatoes during the summer.

So far we have these growing

    Let there be light!

Well seeing I have this weird urge to always upgrade stuff... I decided to upgrade the lights on my AreoGarden.

The old hood/lights were fine but more light never hurts.

    AreoGarden

The light got the plant this far and basically they are fine...

    AreoGarden

The upgrade kit came with everything needed.

    AreoGarden

After about 10 minutes they were ready to go. Easily snapped into place of the old hood.

One problem I found was the new hood doesn't adjust at the same levels as the old hood.

I had a rather large gap between the bulbs and plants.

    AreoGarden

Look what I used to correct that problem

    AreoGarden

Worked great. A spent .223 brass case.

Lowes has a display of all things Aero; bulbs, seeds and stuff.

$149 is the price. Talk about sticker shock.

10% off is all you'll get with the Lowes Coupon, which barely covers tax.

You can check TJ Maxx or Marshall's for refurbs like I got for myself and Res. It's always hit or miss. If you want one and don't want to wait, you'll get a better deal at Bed Bath and Beyond. The item is MAP priced (everyone sells at same price) but their coupons are for 20% off any one item.

Your tomatoes are awesome. Mine didn't do well; very few tomatoes. I had it in the kitchen where the light over the sink is on all night and I have a feeling the plants didn't get a true dark cycle to generate flowers. I'm gonna try again putting it in a room that is completely dark at night.

    BTW

I bought the aerogrow trellis system with a few extra hangers and it was dynamite for supporting the plants.

If you order it from aerogrow, it takes forever. LOL, actually everything I've ordered from aerogrow has taken a long time to receive.
