The VA Western New York Healthcare System has named James Cody as interim medical center director.

Cody, who is expected to arrive in Buffalo Aug. 11, comes to the center from the Syracuse VA Medical Center, where he has served in the same capacity since January 2000. He previously held administrative posts at the VAMC in Providence, RI.
