The only way to lose weight.

Cut out processed foods and excersize.
    That's it.

It's not the fat that makes us fat, it's the chemicles and lack of motion.
    Period!
Let me articulate this for you:
"I'm not locked in here with them. They're locked in here with me!!"

    actually its simpler than that.

if your Calories in are less that calories out you lose weight.

if your Calories in are greater than calories out you gain weight.

what type of calories doesnt matter when it comes to straight weight loss, its simple math

you need to understand that other factors can be involved....slow metabolism, thyroid problems,etc.....makes weight loss difficult for many....

true but the basic math remains the same. burn more calories than you take in and you will lose weight.

A few years back I did the "Body for Life" program and lost 68 pounds, worked out every day, ran twice a day, best I ever felt in my entire life.

Then, two years ago I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, lost my health insurance and fell apart, physically. Someday I'm going to run and work out again. I have to have that feeling of health once more.

Body for Life was an excellent program and I really didn't purchase the products that much but came away from the program with excellent eating and exercise regimens.

Palm of your hand, size of your fist - potion control.

    I did that too.
Worked out religiously, ate right, lived right.
I was in top physical sdhape.
Then I fell and tore some ligaments in my wrist and about the time that healed, my life made the changes I've talked about and I never went back to it.

I need to, but the motivation is just not there and it's killing me.

You are correct, it is all about motivation and I am not sure what to tell you about that; you have to find your own source. However, you know that release of endorphins? It's a natural high and maybe if you can see that as your motivator/reward, it will work for you.
