    Angry Property tax inequity?

His home is very comparable to mine. Buffalo Blockshopper where I got this info lists my property tax at $2233.70. How is this possible?

I also looked at his campaign expenditures at the Erie county boe, and found where he spent almost $300 for campaign t-shirts, from a company in PA. I believe that there is a company right on South Park Ave., in Lackawanna that could have used the business?

    Quote:
“They want everything for themselves,” he states. “They don't think that a grassroots guy like myself, the son of hard working Polish-Americans, should ever be considered for such a position as NYS Assemblymember. Well, we are going to do our best to prove them wrong.”

    Astroturfing

Faking a grassroots movement is known as astroturfing. Astroturfing, as the name suggests, is named after AstroTurf, a brand of artificial grass. Astroturfing means pretending to be a grassroots movement, when in reality the agenda and strategy is controlled by a hidden non-grassroots organization. A show is made of individuals pretending to be voicing their own opinions.

This "grassroots democrat" supported two republican candidates when he was council president because the democrats didn't suit his needs. One of them was paid back by Norm by being hired as a code enforcement officer.

Do not know, but Maureen Gambinos daughter Meagan Bender was just hired at the Boards special meeting 8/4/11, no public, as the HS Attendance teacher along with the #2 aides. Info posted on Lackawanna School Board minutes.

Post I just found Washinton's "Farewell Address" to be interesting.....

Boy oh boy did our Forefathers ever know what was coming down the road.....
Last half of George Washington's " Farewell Address " before he returned to his farm, you can read all of it at your leisure.
I get an e-mail every day from William Federer, a Christian Historian, who tells a short story daily about the history of something that happened on this day, etc.

" Morality is a necessary spring of popular government...
Who that is a sincere friend to it can look with indifference upon
    attempts to shake the foundation?"

George Washington warned in his Farewell Address how America might be
    destroyed:
"And of fatal tendency...to put, in the place of the delegated will
of the Nation, the will of a party; - often a small but artful and
    enterprising minority...

They are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent
engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be
enabled to subvert the Power of the People and to usurp for the
themselves the reins of Government; destroying afterwards the very
engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion..."

    Washington cautioned further:
"But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism...

The disorders and miseries, which result, gradually incline the minds
of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an
Individual...(who) turns this disposition to the purposes of his own
elevation, on the ruins of Public Liberty...

The spirit of encroachment tends to consolidate the powers of all the
departments in one, and thus to create, whatever the form of
    government, a real despotism..."

    Washington concluded:
"Let there be no change by usurpation...It is the customary weapon by
    which free governments are destroyed."
    "

    Wikipedia
    Usurpsers
    :
Usurpers are individuals or groups of individuals who obtain and maintain the power or rights of another by force and without legal authority. Usurpation was endemic during roman imperial era, especially from the crisis of the third century onwards, when political instability became the rule.

What a brilliant man OUR First President of the United States was! He knew the evil lurking in the minds of greedy men, seeking power for their own self-serving agendas ! Then the family and friends keep this control inside the pyramid and block the attempts of the common people who want a bite of the pie they picked the berries for. How sad.
It was easy to conquer Lackawanna because of the pyramid of nepotism--family and friends + promises of " you're next in line ". Can you imagine the deals going down now?
