    Exclamation Hortons is open already!

Did they slap that up with a lick and a promise? Between Target, Kohl's and now Timmy's, they'd better get a signal in there.

Had lunch at Anderson's the other day. Watched the traffic exiting the apartment complex, Hortons and Michael Anthony.

It was a hoot watching the chaos, not only in attempts at making left turns onto Transit from the apartment complex and Michael Anthony, but even when cars were exiting all three complexes to make right turns!

I'm sure a signal at Kohl's will help get rid of this safety issue, NOT!.

Signalization should go in at Kohl's, right? WRONG! But, Kohl's is willing to pay for signaization, that was part of the town's condition when they approved the site plan.

There never has been a rational planned approach to development in Lancaster. Cummulative impacts mean crap to this town. Shoehorn everthing thing in and please the developers for the quid pro quo succor.

I agree to a point about the signal. IMO if they wanted a Timmy's so badly they should have put it either with Target or with Kohls so there weren't 3 bad points of traffic but only (only?) 2.

It was Timmy that wanted to locate on the east side (Lancaster side) of Transit Road ASAP. They already have a spot near Broadway that catches the traffic going north. The Target or near empty plaza next to Target were not their choices.

They did not want to wait for the establishment of the strip plaza next to Kohl's - long delayed because of internal dealings gone awry.

Signalization is more warranted in other locations than the Target or Kohl's.

Signalization at the Target on Transit would be located too close to the signalization at Transit and William/Losson intersection.

Signalization at the Kohl's would only benefit Kohl's as there is no intersection at the location. Poor planning by both Lancaster and Cheektowaga over the years has caused an unsafe situation along Transit Road between French Road and William/Losson.

And they want to develop the area even more and dump commercial traffic on adjacent two-lane county roads.

Has anyone tried out that drive-thru yet? Don't bother unless you're driving the last Yugo.
