Property Assessment Hearing/ Challenge

Just curious..but, has anyone challenged their property tax assessment and are scheduled for a hearing THIS MONTH or in FEBRUARY?...if so, LET US KNOW the outcome..I have 2 hearings scheduled this month.
ALSO, what you did ,and used for supporting documentation to plead your case?

I challenged mine last year.. I brought in pictures & recent home sales in my neighborhood(comps) I asked for a 20k decrease I received a 10k decrease.. Im ok with it.
If you bought a property that was a foreclosure you can forget getting the assessment reduced to near the purchase price it wont happen.

I just bought my house (literally...6 days ago). Will the assessment be the same a last year?

That may be the case now..but I bought a city tax foreclosure in 2006 and appealed the assessment and won the reduction to bid price.
