I think some of the real gloating is coming from Keane supporters, who are absolutely beside themselves predicting how quickly Collins will fail. They'd rather see him fail, I think, that see the region make any progress at all.

I agree. I think all Collins supporters should take a vow not to gloat or say anything critical of Keane now. I don't know if it will make a difference as far as the Keane on this site are concerned, though. But I say it's worth a try.

There was a older gent who went to the Mall . He saw a sound system and fell in love . It was everything he ever wanted and more . He paid cash and gleefully took it home .

So after setting up his new one , he loaded his old one into the new box . While in the driveway he thought - well the speakers are good so I'll save them . He put them in the garage - while pulling out the speakers - he thought - I can use these wires for some thing - out they came .

So he then took the box to the curb - he set it down and started to walk away - he turned back around and looked into the box . He saw the power cord and plug hanging out - so he grabbed it with one hand - put the other on the stereo - and yanked the power cord - ripping it out of the stereo . I can use that he thought to himself.

Just before entering his side door he looked at the cord - he thought - this is all broken now - its no good - he threw it into the garbage can and went inside to listen to his new stereo .

Seems that the Republican party has pretty effectively buried the American state and the Costitution by obstructionism, and done it pretty effectively.

The British (twice!), our own South, the Nazis, the Japaneese and the Soviet Union couldn't destroy the USA, but Bush, Rove and the rest of the Repugs did it in 7 years.


So yeah, I think that being total obstructionists might just work!

But in the end, we'll have to see what the Control Board says about it
