I heard it from someone else. The statement was made on information and belief to the best of my knowledge.

He would not. The Hatch Act specifically excludes educational institutions since the majority of funding for any of them is from Federal sources.
Again, way to twist the words and skirt the question.
FYI--Do not expect anything other than "I heard this" or "I heard that" or "I saw polling..." etc. etc. Never any substance, just heard it thru the grapevine type rumors from someone who likes to play dumb on where he got the info, as if it was just stumbled upon.
