Hello setter55,
Well with me, my coworker and you that makes 3 of us that happened to be in attendance out of maybe 300.

Don't know what the Freakers Ball was? anybody?
Thanks for replying.

A little before my time. I started doing the local concerts thing with Talas at Sheridan Drive-in in the late 70's/early 80's.
Let me articulate this for you:
"I'm not locked in here with them. They're locked in here with me!!"

I saw the show too. I was up for the summer visiting my relatives and my cousin came with me. I came to see Dr. Hook. It was behind a mall and Dr. Hook put on this crazy stage show. I was 12 at the time and brought home some drum sticks (lost now). I remember the Runaways too. Sorry we didn't get any pics.
Hello,
Me again, bflobrian.
It's pretty cool that some people do remember that show. Small world that I actually have a coworker that was at that show too. He lived in N. Tonawanda at the time...me in Batavia.
Wish I had better pictures of the gig.
Not many people post to this music section??

I remember the free concert in Delaware Park with Starz, Roger McGuinn's Thunderbird Talas and IDK who else! Best use of an Olmstead Park ever!

buffalofamily, I remember that Delaware Park show, too. First 'grown up' concert I went to with friends. Pretty sure Talas opened, so it was them, Starz and Roger McGuinn. Awesome day.
