Good for you. Thats what I like to see.
You're right. Advice is well taken! I plan to be much more active than in my past. I will be asking a lot of questions.
Can a person really tell how another person voted?Originally Posted by FJB

If you could get this information it would make our voting system a sham.
I would not like to have the powers to be know how I voted.

Quite useful really, especially when you spend most of your time putting together spreadsheets to stalk people.
Was that list of Independent Erie County "elected commitee members" that was posted on another thread just "made up"? Is it a lie?
Nope all those people are elected as committee members.Originally Posted by sylvan_fettle
All records held at the BOE are open for public inspection. There is a sign in book that every one signs when they go to vote. If only a couple people signed in in your district then you can review the out come of the election for that district. During a primary there are usually 2 or three people who came out to vote on the minor party line. So you can get a good idea of who voted for who especially if they all voted for the same person. All this is available to the public.Originally Posted by Mr. Lackawanna

I was just curious because someone on another message board commented that they knew some of those people and he didnt think they were "elected officials", but rather just a list of people who vote [and/or?] just members of a party.
He also mentioned that there are people who register as independents, but who covertly act as agents for republicans and/or democrats. I think that just fools the people. [mellow out micheal...lol]
Independents should put up the type of front that causes republicans and democrats to publicly merge with each other and step up to the front holding hands like the true hypocrites that they are and then let "the people" decide what they want. Change [new paradigm of representation] or the mundane?
Rumor has it that and this is only rumor mind you. The erie county IP leader has his head so far up the erie county dem leader butt they share the same set of eye glasses. Mind you, thats only rumor.Originally Posted by sylvan_fettle

If thats true, then those are the people who are only there as pieces to the ying yang game. Both dems and reps do have good people, but until those people abolish their parties and use their expertise "together" for doing something constructive I find them to be either red or blue and Id prefer those players be suspended for a while so society can try something new with the origional intent of the game.
