Obama and his cohorts leading this country towards socialism.

1) Taking the banks out out the student loan business.
2) Government health care plan.
3) Attempting to stop sugar drinks in schools
4) Taking over the auto industry

The government is attempting to control our daily lives.
We are getting closer to the government regulating our lives as written in the book by George Orwell book "1984" Soon our children will be reporting their parents to the "government police" for having anti government ideas.

2) Government health care plan. Nope not happening, it's an expantion of the private system with MASSIVE govt regulations

No, not really.

Why don't you do some research on what socialism is? I can give you a quick low down however, if you like:

So, the working class get a direct ownership and say in the production and expense of goods and services. Also, workers get compensated based on the amount of labor done. There is no sitting on your arse and collecting checks..

To me socialism means the government will control everything.

what is wrong with capitalism? nothing. However the powers that be, have realised that americans eat, drink and own too much, and therefore need a decrease in wages, and thus a decrease in a standard of living.

as example... wages since 2000 have DECREASED. However the base price for a Brand New 2009 F150 has INCREASED $5,000 since 2000. due to 'inflation' However, wages, on the other hand, by and large have experience deflation.


This isnt about socialism, this is about govt control taking out freedoms and liberties to feed the American War Machine.

1984 was about the threat of communism, sweetpea, not socialism. It was also fiction written about 60 years ago.

You might try actually reading the book instead of just repeating what propagandists tell you about it.

Actually, it dealt with neither. It dealt with facism coming under the guise of socialism.

It being called "IngSoc" (English Socialism) was a purposeful misnomer.
